In 2010 I was invited by The Fashion and Textile Museum to exhibit my pastel and oil paintings at their exhibition Sanderson.
The paintings were inspired by a reclaimed hospital screen that I acquired in 1992. It was upholstered in original Sanderson fabric, from the Chelsea series. The work is a comment on the notions of "home", domesticity, decor and Englishness.
